Biography

Brandee J.K. Faria is an award-winning attorney in Honolulu. She is one of Hawai’i’s go-to lawyers for multi-million-dollar class actions and civil disputes. Brandee represents individuals as well as corporations and partnerships that are exploited by deceptive and unfair business and employment practices.

Brandee has obtained multi-million-dollar recoveries for her clients. Working tirelessly, she has successfully litigated over thirty Class Action matters. She has also provided legal counsel for several organizations, including the Hui Malama O Ke Kai Foundation, Polynesian Voyaging Society, Hawaii Sailing Canoe Association, Kai Makana, Hui Nalu, Project Purelight, and New Hope Christian Fellowship’s Children of Incarcerated Parents Ministry. On the defense side, she has obtained verdicts and rulings in cases ranging from fraud to legal malpractice where the damages were alleged to be more than $150 million.

Brandee received her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Seattle University. In her third year, Brandee attended the University of Hawai’i as a visiting student where she worked as a research assistant on Hawaiian issues for the late Professor John Van Dyke and Sherry Broder. She was also a law clerk to the late Honorable John S. W. Lim, Judge of the Hawai’i Intermediate Court of Appeals. Brandee is a member of the Hawaii and American Bar Associations, and she acts as an arbitrator for the First Circuit Court Annexed Arbitration Program.
